Applications
(1) Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether Acetate used as solvent for coatings such as nitrocellulose paint. Due to it's low hygroscopicity, the coating film is not easy to be emulsified.
(2) To be used as intermediate of the herbicide preochlor.
(3) It is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol,acetone, and miscible with water. With low toxicity low viscosity, so it also widely used in electrophoretic paint, organic synthesis of medicines (fungicides, insect repellants, herbicides, etc.),
